Tickets: the town is free
There is no gate ticket for Fenghuang itself. Tickets are only for the individual sights and the boats, and the official list is short:

| Eight sights + Tuo River boat (night) | ¥208 |

- Boats run 08:00–17:30 by day and 19:30–23:30 at night.
- Walking across the Hong Bridge is free; climbing the tower on it is ticketed. The Wanming Pagoda and the stilt-house streets are free to see.
- Older names you may still find online — a “¥148 pass”, a “nine-sight ticket” — are no longer sold.
The night lights and how long to stay
- The whole town lights up after dark — the stilt houses, the Hong Bridge, the city gates — it is not a timed show.
- Plan one or two nights; the combined tickets are valid for two days.
- The town walls run about 1.8 km. Fenghuang became a 5A scenic area in February 2024.
