Zhangjiajie tickets: every price in one place

Zhangjiajie’s tickets come in three layers: the scenic-area entry tickets, which are set by the government and have been one flat price all year since 2025 (fixed for five years); the transport inside the parks — cable cars, the lift, the little train — which is sold separately; and the shows and extras. The table is the official listed adult price in October 2026 — not an agent’s price, not a package price.

How buying works

  • Every major scenic area uses real-name tickets: you register with your passport number and scan the passport at the gate. The forest park and the glass bridge are also reserved by gate and time slot; a forest park ticket can be changed twice.
  • The ¥3 insurance is optional, though most ticket windows add it by default.
  • There is no low-season price. Since 2025 the entry fees are the same all year; any site still promising a cheaper winter ticket is out of date.
  • The cable cars and the lift need no time slot. If you will ride three or more times, the combined pass is cheaper than single rides.

Seniors, students and children

  • Forest park: foreign visitors aged 65 and over enter free, 60–64 pay half; the shuttle bus is charged in full and the cable cars and lift have no senior fare.
  • Tianmen Mountain: ¥116 over 65; ¥152 for ages 14–17, students and 60–64; foreign passports qualify.
  • Furong Town: ¥10 for ages 65–74, free over 75 and under 14, foreign passports included.
  • Children are discounted by height or age at each site; the rules differ, so check at the gate.

What a full visit costs

A first-time visitor who does the big five — forest park with shuttle (¥236), the unlimited cable-car pass (¥298), the Ten-Mile Gallery train both ways (¥76), Tianmen Mountain (¥288) and the glass bridge with canyon (¥219) — pays a little over ¥1,100 per person in tickets, before hotels, meals, transport and shows.
